What is iMagicon?

Minot ND – Minot’s comic/gaming convention is back. This year’s event will be held August 21-23, 2020, at the Minot Municipal Auditorium & Armory and features Cosplay contests, artists, board and video gaming, LAN parties, shopping, and more. 

Where & when is this held?
iMagicon is held at the Minot Municipal Auditorium in Minot, ND on August 21-23, 2020.

What are the hours?

11 am to 12 am Friday & Saturday; 11 am to 6 pm, Sunday

Why the name?
“Imagine”, “Magic”, “Con”. = iMagicon. Imagine the possibilities. 2015 was just a start and our imaginations are the limit.

What does it cost to attend?
If purchasing in advance, $40 for 3-day pass; $125 for Premiere pass or tickets at the door for $20 per day. The Convention Pass gets you into the event for all days. 

How much is it for children?
Youth 7 years old to 13 are $5 per day with a paying adult accompanying them. Children 6 and younger are free with a paying adult.

What does a Premiere ticket get you?
Your Premiere ticket includes many perks including an iMagicon gift, LAN party entry, a collectors iMagicon badge, access to Special Guests (when available), first right of Premium purchase in 2021 and more! Premiere tickets are only for sale through www.imagiconnd.com and are not available for purchase at the event.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Of course! We just offer discounts if purchased in advance. Tickets are on sale at imagiconnd.com.

Are there special room rates?

Yes! The iMagicon official hotels for 2020 are the Hampton Inn & Suites and the Grand Hotel which are offering room block rates for iMagicon guests. Call the Hampton Inn & Suites at (701) 838-1400 or the Grand Hotel at (800) 735-4493 for more details.

Is Cosplay allowed at the convention?
YES! It is highly encouraged! You may come dressed to the event if you want. Just adhere to the cosplay rules and policy as outlined on our website. All cosplayers have to check in with security before entering the event.

Are ticket refunds allowed?
Tickets are typically nonrefundable – please refer to your tickets for policy. For our April 2020 event that was postponed due to Covid-19, customers were sent an email in March 2020 alerting them of date change and that their tickets would automatically be extended to the August 2020 date. Refund window was open to those who couldn’t attend the new date through April 26, 2020. After April 26, all tickets were moved to August 2020 and refund window is now closed. Those who still feel uncomfortable to attend August 2020 may request that their August 2020 ticket be exchanged for the April 2021 event by emailing info@imagiconnd.com.
